Aswath Damodaran is a Professor of Finance at NYU’s Stern School of Business and is perhaps the most well-known expert on valuing stocks. He is also a previous guest on Equity Mates (Apple | Spotify | YouTube).
In a recent interview he argued that the Big Tech companies are becoming the ‘value stocks’ in this current market, by delivering consistent growth in earnings and cash flow.
It is a different perspective on some of the most-discussed stocks on the market. Not sure it’s one we totally agree with, but an interesting perspective. Towards the end of the interview Aswath also discusses his view on the market’s current valuation and where it might be going next.
